Absolutely. Cleared processes everything on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, and we don't collect any personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no cloud processing.

You can cancel anytime through your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cleared. Apple handles all billing — we never see your payment information.

Deleted photos are moved to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album, where they stay for 30 days before permanent removal. You can also create an encrypted backup before deleting — a password-protected ZIP file you can save or share via the iOS share sheet.

Yes. Cleared works with your photo library whether you use iCloud Photos or not. Note that if you have iCloud Photos enabled, deleting a photo on your device will also remove it from iCloud. We recommend creating a backup first.

Cleared requires iOS 17 or later. The app is built with SwiftUI and Apple's latest Vision framework to ensure the best performance and accuracy.

Cleared uses Apple's built-in Vision framework, the same technology that powers the People album in your Photos app. It's highly accurate and improves with more photos. You can always review grouped photos before taking any action.
